Pastries of Peril is a game developed in a team of 5 during Brackey’s Game Jam 2025.2. The theme of the Jam was “Risk it, for the biscuit!” so we came up with a Balatro inspired game about playing a pastry chef version of Blackjack, where you would have to reach the score of 21 (unless something happened) against the rival chef. The entire gameplay was enhanced by powerups and special pastries which would be valued differently. The team was comprised of people I just met for the jam, as I like taking jams as a chance to meet new people in the videogame space.
